Ready...Set...

At last! Some movement in the new house department. Can I get a WOOHOOOO!!!?

We've had a small parcel of land that we've had half an eye on since before the holidays, but one thing and then another kept us from actually putting an offer in on it. Now that we finally got our ducks in a row and order of action planned out (so that we're not spending any more investigative money than we have to up front) we decided to approach the seller this past week. 

Miracle of miracles, after a bit of countering back and forth, we ended up right where we'd hoped to be, and our offer was accepted!

Still only trepidatious excitement here though, as there are still a lot of hoops to jump through before we know that the site will be approved for our proposed build (so we can close), and honestly, our chances are about 50/50. We'll be tiiiiiiiight trying to squeeze everything in that is necessary, but we're praying with a little creative puzzle piecing and a great team working for us, our plans will come together.

So that's the skinny on what's new in Ingleside-land. Stay tuned for (hopefully) the news that we can throw out all the stops and actually celebrate owning the new land soon!!
