Our anniversary this past summer found us in the quaint little Bavarian hamlet of Leavenworth, Washington staying in The Hotel Pension Anna. Hosts, Michele and Gary along with their friendly staff, made us feel right at home from the moment we walked through the door! Quiet, and secluded-feeling, but in a perfect location for strolling around town, to dinner, or a hike on the local greenway winding along the river (all of which we enjoyed!). We love Bed & Breakfasts, in part because of what a personal experience they can be, and Pension Anna was no exception. The staff helped us choose the best room to book, and assured us that our dietary needs would be taken care of over the phone, and we so enjoyed when Gary sat down next to us at breakfast a couple mornings to swap stories and catch up on the news of the day! Super comfortable bedding, delicious European-style breakfasts, well-appointed rooms, clean common areas, and a beautiful view from the veranda makes Pension Anna a B&B we heartily recommend!
